Children's World of Music Classes
(45 minute classes)
The Children's World of Music classes are a fun and educational way for young children to be introduced to the world of music. The objective of the course is to introduce children to the worldly aspect of music such as the language, vocabulary, listening, instruments, creativity and performance. The emphasis is on learning music through fun, while still being informative and educational. It is a basic introduction to musical notes and words and also action songs and ear training. The children also get a chance to try out some of our instruments to see what they like, such as keyboard, violin, percussion, recorder and guitar. These classes are for children aged from 3 - 7 years old.
3 - 4 year olds (Wednesdays @ 2:30pm)
In these classes, different types of music are explored, such as, pop/rock, opera, jazz, traditional music and more. They are also introduced to the different instruments in an orchestra. They also hear the stories and music of famous performers from The Beatles and U2 to Bach and Mozart. The classes for 3-4 year olds take place on Wednesdays at 2:30pm. The classes are for 45 minutes and are group classes. If the child has a sibling who may want to join with them, then they will receive a 5% discount off the term fee.
5 - 6 year olds (Wednesdays @ 3:30pm & Saturdays @ 12:30pm)
Children are exposed to the layout of the musical score and music appreciation. Children learn a huge range of music vocabulary and expression. A wealth of songs and rounds are taught including singing accompanied by percussion instruments. Children are also placed into small groups where they receive tuition in instruments such as violin, piano, recorder and guitar.
These classes are for 45 minutes and are group classes. If the child has a sibling who may want to join with them, then they will receive a 5% discount off the term fee.
6 - 7 year olds (Wednesdays @ 4:30pm)
This is a slightly more advanced class and is a great foundation for children who then wish to continue on to 1:1 lessons in their chosen instrument. The classes are for 45 minutes and are group classes. If the child has a sibling who may want to join with them, then they will receive a 5% discount off the term fee.

We provide an active and informative teaching programme designed and taught by highly experienced teachers. Our classes are child centered and focused on learning through fun.
The children are supervised in their various activities. We ourselves enjoy teaching the children and the positivity surrounding the Children's World of Music classes is shown by many of the children returning year after year.
